How to deal with your cat's death
by
KittyKondo.com
Your cat will not live forever and many owners are surprised by
the level of grief that losing a pet can create. Its normal to
cry when you loose a loving companion that you have shared your
home and life with for a long time and at times dealing with
your pet's death can be painful.
Talking about your cat's death is important. If you have
children in the family its good to let them know that you are
also sad and that death is a part of life and your cat cannot live
forever although we would want them to.
If you happen to live alone when your cat dies do not deal with
your grief alone. There are many local pet loss support groups
and phone hotlines. Also, on the web you can find many resources
for pet loss and grief counseling. Search for them. Here are
some other helpful resources for pet loss and grief support:

resources and healing poetry including Rainbow
