A high quality, fully automated cat
litter box for the ultimate in convenience. It contains
weight sensors below the litter pan that detect the entry
and exit of your cat. After use (and after a 25-minute delay
to allow the clumps to harden) it will automatically clean
the pan.
Waste removal is accomplished as the
pan revolves while the rake sweeps through the pan gathering
up clumps. The clumps are deposited into a covered waste bin
where they are stored with very little odor until it's
convenient for you to discard. Cleaning and maintaining the
unit is super simple. The waste storage bin is easily
detachable so that waste can be carried to the garbage
receptacle with no contact or mess. Replaceable
elastic-topped liners (replacement liners sold separately)
help keep the waste storage bin clean and odor-free and each
unit comes with a set of four bags to get you started. The
rake is also easily detached allowing the pan to be removed
for complete cleaning as needed.
Note: The unit also contains a
push-button for manually activating the cleaning process.
This may be necessary if introducing a young lightweight
kitten to the unit. Within just a few weeks (by the time the
kitten reaches 5-6 pounds) the sensors will take over this
function. Litter system uses an AC adaptor (included).
Entire system measures approximately 26 3/8" L x 19 3/8" W x
8 3/4" H.
A high quality clumping clay litter or
an advanced clumping litter like "World's Best" or "Littermaid
Litter" is required (litter not included).
